Most of us want to do Gods will, but we still mess up. Mike asks us if we have habits that keep us distant from Gods will. 1st thing to do is to acknowledge that you have this habit. Mike gives us 3 things that can help: prayer, hang out with Christ (the body) and the Bible.
The questions we discuss are: What are some habits that are keeping you from growing closer to God?
What is it about this habit that you find compelling?
What are some things you are going to do to break this habit?

TJ opens with him sharing how the past week had gone. He asked us what we value. What do we spend time doing? We read in matt 6:19-21 how not to worry about gaining here on earth but look to heaven. Life is short time is valuable. In Matt 25 we read about the parable of the 3 servants given money to take care of. In Phil 3:1 we read how Paul was the hard core Hebrew but it was all-worthless with out Christ.
The questions we discuss are:
What do you value in life?
What do you think God sees as value in this life?
How can we spend more time on what god sees as valuable?

What are some examples of faithful and unfaithfulness today?
How have you experienced faithful and unfaithfulness?

Temptation is there to pull us away from God. If we don't stay alert we can be tempted or become a tool in someone else’s temptation. God doesn't tempt us but he allows us to be tempted. 3 areas we are tempted in our lives are: our flesh, our identity and our allegiance.
The questions we discuss are: What might it look like to be tempted in today’s society?
How have you experienced these temptations?
What does it look like to conquer these temptations?

Mike opens with the usual couple of questions:
What do you see about Gods character in the passages?
How has Christ moved you this week?
Mike adds the third question for this week: How has someone prayed for you and how did it affect your life. If you have never received prayer do you need it?

Mike reads out of Gen 18. We see how Abraham pleaded with God to not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.

Chris Self gives his powerful testimony on how he was lead to Christ. He discusses his past and the events that lead up to him accepting Christ. He tells us how his best friends prayed and pleaded with him to see the truth. He tells how it wasn’t till ran into his old worst enemy, that he broke down and gave in to Christ.
