How many of us are still holding on to our past? We are back this week with “The Journey” and we pick up in Genesis 41. Holding on to our past prevents us from our true identity in Christ. In Genesis 41 Joseph demonstrates his identity solid in Christ as he is before the Pharaohs’ presence. He does not let the past plant a bitter seed in his heart that will lead him to be useless before the Lord. The questions we discuss are: 1. What are some things in the past that you’re still holding on to that you need to let go? 2. If your identity was set in Christ what would it look like? |
