TJ gets back on track with Eph 6, Spiritual Warfare. He talks about how Peter changed from denying Christ to proclaiming him. He discusses how we are Christ’s representative or his ambassador. Kayla shares her testimony and gives a moving story of where she has come from. We are blessed with her message of how Christ has affected her life and the changes she has experienced.

With thanksgiving coming up this week, TJ touches on how unthankful people have become. He brings up the point of being thankful has to do with accepting the truth. The question we discuss was: What can we do today to reestablish an attitude of thankfulness?

Mike discusses how we pray. How should we pray? Do you tend to pray for others and not yourself? We discuss: How God has answered prayers in our lives and what we can pray about for each other.

This weeks service was a little different. TJ discusses singing. Instead of a discussion we group up and sing. TJ discusses the point of the message after.

TJ continues on with Eph 6 with the shield of faith. He discusses 8 expressions of faith: giving, singing, praying, proclaiming, learning, meditation, sharing and serving. We read out of various chapters of the bible and discuss giving. We read Heb 13 and discuss what worship we see and how can it apply in our lives.

TJ continues on this week on Eph 6. He brings up the promise of peace. We discuss how we get when we don't know the outcome of something stressful. TJ uses an example of how some fighters get nervous before competition. God has given us the outcome. TJ goes over the meaning o 777. The first 7 is for the completion of creation. The second 7 is for the completion of salvation. The third 7 is the completion of redemption or restoration.
The questions we discuss are : What normally brings you peace in your life and is it constant?
How can you apply the good news to your current circumstances?

TJ goes over last weeks message and how it ties in with this week’s message. We read Eph 6:10. We discuss how there is freedom with Christ and bondage by living by the law. TJ brings up 3 different kingdoms and what they stand for.
Babylon = Bondage
Egypt = Rebellion
Zion = Freedom
The questions we discuss are: What are the key differences between the 3 kingdoms?
How do see evidence if these kingdoms in today’s culture?
How have you experienced living in these Kingdoms?

We all have experienced pain. Have you ever thought of pain as the vehicle that drives you down the road of life? We read Matt 26 this week. We also discuss 2 different streets we can go down thru life 6th or 7th. 6th leads to death and 7th to eternal life.
The questions we discuss are:
What have you experienced going down 6th st?
What have you experienced going down 7th st?
What road are you going down now and why?

Mike talks about how trees get pruned and compares the pruning to our challenges God allows us to go through. We read out of Job 1 and see the how God allowed Job to be tested.
The questions we discuss are:
How have you bee pruned in your life and how did experience God through it?
How do we learn to have an attitude like Job?
What did you learn about Gods character though this?

We must consider all of our trials joy! Why? God is perfecting us! We must know that the testing of our faith produces endurance. God promises crowns of life for all of us who love him and is endure.

The questions we discuss are:
1.What area in your life do you feel the most pressure?
2.Are you receiving it or repelling it?
3.Is that pressure coming from God or you/Satan.

This week we recap the book of Genesis but our focal point is Genesis 3. We discussed the fall of man and God saving us from our self through Jesus
whose name means God saves.

The questions we discuss are:
1.How has God saved you from yourself?
2.How has God saved you from Satan?
3.How has God save you from eternal punishment?

Mourning is the process of change. TJ shares his recent struggles and his past. He discusses how he has had to mourn the lost of several friends. We finish Genesis with chapter 50. Joseph mourns the passing of his father Jacob. We read about the time he took to grieve.
The questions we discuss are:
How have you experienced grieving over something that has happened to you? Where did you end up in the process?
How have you experienced hurting or grieving over something you have done wrong? How have you made a positive change?

Have you ever surrendered all of you to God in the mist of a tragedy? This week we were in Gen 47 and we discussed our responsibilities in the body of Christ. What it means to give our body up to God as a living sacrifice and what that looks like. How to respond to God in obedience and not through a tragedy!

The questions we discuss are:
1. What responsibilities do you feel you have in the body of Christ?
2. In what part of your life did you go through a spiritual famine?

Ever ride a bike with out your hands or raise your hands on a roller coaster? TJ discusses his control issues, mainly on roller coasters. We read out of Mark 25 and see how Jesus was able to control the weather. Picking back up in Gen we finish Gen 42 and go on to 43. Joseph and Jacob show us 2 different ways of dealing with control and lack of control.
The questions this week are: What have you tried to control in your life, only to realize you couldn't?
How have you experienced letting go of control and describe the emotions good or bad.
What are you trying to control, that you need to let go?

Jay gives a little of his background. He goes over the end of Gen 41 and how Joseph he was in jail, interpreted Pharaohs dreams and became a ruler. We read out of Gen 42 and how Jacob sent Josephs brothers to Egypt for food.
The questions we discuss are:
What is a trial from your past and what did God bring from it?
What is a current trial and how do you see God in it?
Does it matter if you know what the trials purpose is?

Mike opens with a big announcement that Becka is pregnant. Congratulations Mike and Becka!!!!! TJ gives us a message starting at Acts 2:36 and then going on to Eph4, 1 Cor 12:7, Rom 12:3 and then back to Acts 2. He stars explaining how the early church started. We read how the Holy Spirit blesses us with our spiritual gifts. Even if we have different gifts one isn’t more important than another. We all have a part in the church. TJ asks us to ask ourselves what is our gift?

Mike opens with the usual couple of questions:
What do you see about Gods character in the passages?
How has Christ moved you this week?
Mike adds the third question for this week: How has someone prayed for you and how did it affect your life. If you have never received prayer do you need it?

Mike reads out of Gen 18. We see how Abraham pleaded with God to not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.

Chris Self gives his powerful testimony on how he was lead to Christ. He discusses his past and the events that lead up to him accepting Christ. He tells us how his best friends prayed and pleaded with him to see the truth. He tells how it wasn’t till ran into his old worst enemy, that he broke down and gave in to Christ.
